The Android Application Engineer program is designed to provide participants with a complete training in Android applications with Kotlin, security in mobile applications and monetization strategies. This course covers from the foundations of the Kotlin language, the development of user interfaces (UI/UX), to the safety and monetization of Android applications. Following the practical Learning Method approach, participants will work on real laboratories and projects, ensuring an experience aligned with industry and certification. At the end of the course, students will be prepared to obtain the following international certifications:

  • Android Certified Application Developer (AND-X01)
  • Android Security Essentials (AND-802)
  • Android Applications UI/UX Design and Monetization Techniques (AND-803)

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Learn the foundations of Kotlin language and its application on Android
  • Design and develop complete Android applications, following good architecture practices
  • Understand the life cycle of an Android application and manage activities and intentions
  • Implement persistent storage on Android, using SQLite and Firebase databases
  • Configure safety in Android applications, protecting data, access and avoiding vulnerabilities
  • Develop applications with geolocation, using GPS and Google Maps
  • Apply advanced UI/UX strategies, ensuring an optimal user experience
  • Monetize Android applications, through advertising, subscriptions and purchases in the application
  • Publish applications on Google Play Store, ensuring compliance with publication policies
  • Prepare for international and X01, and 802 and AND-803 certifications, validating their mobile development skills

To participate in this training, attendees must meet the following requirements:

  • Experience in development of applications with any programming language or having taken the Software Programmer Fundamental course in matrix classroom.

Learning Methodology

The learning methodology, regardless of the modality (in-person or remote), is based on the development of workshops or labs that lead to the construction of a project, emulating real activities in a company.

The instructor (live), a professional with extensive experience in work environments related to the topics covered, acts as a workshop leader, guiding students' practice through knowledge transfer processes, applying the concepts of the proposed syllabus to the project.

The methodology seeks that the student does not memorize, but rather understands the concepts and how they are applied in a work environment.

As a result of this work, at the end of the training the student will have gained real experience, will be prepared for work and to pass an interview, a technical test, and/or achieve higher scores on international certification exams.

Conditions to guarantee successful results:
  • a. An institution that requires the application of the model through organization, logistics, and strict control over the activities to be carried out by the participants in each training session.
  • b. An instructor located anywhere in the world, who has the required in-depth knowledge, expertise, experience, and outstanding values, ensuring a very high-level knowledge transfer.
  • c. A committed student, with the space, time, and attention required by the training process, and the willingness to focus on understanding how concepts are applied in a work environment, and not memorizing concepts just to take an exam.
