The VoIP Asterisk and Issabel Ica course is designed to provide comprehensive training in the implementation and administration of IP telephone systems based on Asterisk and Issabel.

This program prepares participants to obtain international certifications in:

Digium certified asterisk administrator (DCAA).

Issabel Certified Advisor (Ica).

Students will learn to install, manage and configure VOIP servers, including the integration of PBX, IVRS, SIP Trunk and IP telephony safety.

Under the practical Learning Method approach, participants will work on laboratories, practical workshops and/or real projects, ensuring the effective application of knowledge acquired in business environments.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• • Understand Asterisk's architecture and its functionality as PBX and VOIP application development platform
• • Configure and manage ISSABEL PBX, implementing trunk, IVRS and extensions
• Install and execute Asterisk in Linux environments, optimizing your performance and compatibility
• • Integrate Asterisk with analytical and digital telephony, using SIP and RTP protocols
• Create IVRS with database consultations, allowing dynamic interactions with users
• • Implement VoIP security, using tools such as Fail2ban, SSL and Geoip certificates
• • Optimize IP telephone systems in the cloud, including implementations in private AWS and VPS
• Obtain international certifications at VoIP Asterisk Issabel (DCAA and ICA)

To participate in this training, attendees must meet the following requirements:

• • Intermediate knowledge of networks
• • Linux intermediate knowledge
• These requirements ensure that participants have a sufficient technical basis to focus on the administration of IP telephony without difficulties

Learning Methodology

The learning methodology, regardless of the modality (in-person or remote), is based on the development of workshops or labs that lead to the construction of a project, emulating real activities in a company.

The instructor (live), a professional with extensive experience in work environments related to the topics covered, acts as a workshop leader, guiding students' practice through knowledge transfer processes, applying the concepts of the proposed syllabus to the project.

The methodology seeks that the student does not memorize, but rather understands the concepts and how they are applied in a work environment.

As a result of this work, at the end of the training the student will have gained real experience, will be prepared for work and to pass an interview, a technical test, and/or achieve higher scores on international certification exams.
