This expert-level certification validates advanced skills in managing enterprise Linux systems with a focus on high availability, storage cluster management, and resilience in distributed architecture. Candidates develop competencies in load balancing solutions, failover clusters, distributed storage, and both multi-node and single-node configurations.

Upon completing the training, the student will be able to:

  • Implement load balancers using LVS/IPVS, Keepalived, and HAProxy
  • Configure failover clusters with Pacemaker and Corosync
  • Manage replicated storage with DRBD, integrated with Pacemaker
  • Connect to networked storage (SAN) using iSCSI, multipathing, and LVM clustering
  • Implement distributed cluster file systems such as GFS2 and OCFS2
  • Manage distributed storage clusters using GlusterFS and Ceph
  • Set up single-node high availability, including SMART monitoring, UPS integration, and advanced RAID/LVM configurations
  • Handle redundant networking, bonding, VLANs, and basic BGP configuration

To participate in this course, attendees must meet the following specific requirements:

  • Active LPIC‑2 certification (mandatory prerequisite)
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Linux administration within production environments
  • Knowledge of scripting, network administration, RAID/LVM, cluster protocols, and SAN (Storage Area Networks)

The instructor (live), a professional with extensive experience in work environments related to the topics covered, acts as a workshop leader, guiding students' practice through knowledge transfer processes, applying the concepts of the proposed syllabus to the project.

The methodology seeks that the student does not memorize, but rather understands the concepts and how they are applied in a work environment.

As a result of this work, at the end of the training the student will have gained real experience, will be prepared for work and to pass an interview, a technical test, and/or achieve higher scores on international certification exams.
