The AWS Certified Security - Specialty (SCS -C02) course is designed for professionals who want to deepen the Amazon Web Services cloud (AWS) cloud, including infrastructure, data and access protection.

Under the practical Learning Method approach, participants will receive a cloud entrance pack to apply the concepts through workshops, laboratories and projects in real environments, applying advanced security measures, encryption, monitoring and response to incidents in AWS. Regulatory compliance strategies and cloud governance practices will be addressed.

This course is aimed at security architects, systems administrators, Devops Engineers and IT professionals seeking to certify themselves as AWS Certified Security - Specialty and specialize in the protection of cloud environments.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Understand and apply security principles on AWS, including the shared responsibility model.

Configure and administer IAM for the management of access and security policies.

Protect infrastructure and networks in AWS, using VPC, security groups and ACLs.

Implement data encryption at rest and transit, ensuring the integrity of information.

Detect and respond to safety incidents in AWS, using Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail and Security Hub.

Monitor suspicious activities and mitigate risks with tools such as AWS config and aws guardduty.

Optimize regulatory compliance strategies, aligning infrastructure with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.

The methodology seeks that the student does not memorize, but rather understands the concepts and how they are applied in a work environment.
