The LPIC-2 International Certification Program is designed to provide advanced training in LINUX servers administration, including network management, safety, storage, business services and problem solving.

This program prepares participants to obtain international certification:

LPIC-2: Linux Engineer (LPIC-2-201 + LPIC-2-202).

Participants will learn to install, manage and optimize LINUX servers in business environments, configuring networks, file systems, RAID storage, mail servers, DNS, web services and VPNS.

Under the practical Learning Method approach, participants will work on laboratories, practical workshops and/or real projects, ensuring the effective application of knowledge acquired in business environments.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • • Manage LINUX systems at the business level, managing networks and servers in production
  • • Configure and optimize Linux kernel, customizing its performance and hardware compatibility
  • • Implement Linux storage solutions, including RAID and logical volumes
  • • Manage advanced networks in Linux, managing DHCP, DNS, VPN and security servers
  • • Configure and maintain web servers (Apache, Nginx), proxy and mail
  • • Ensure Linux systems using Firewalls, OpenVPN, SSH and safe access settings
  • Obtain the International LPIC-2 certification, validating your knowledge to the industry

To participate in this training, attendees must meet the following requirement:

  • • Having completed the LPIC-1 international certification training
  • This requirement guarantees that participants have the theoretical and practical basis necessary to address the advanced Linux administration issues

Learning Methodology

The learning methodology, regardless of the modality (in-person or remote), is based on the development of workshops or labs that lead to the construction of a project, emulating real activities in a company.

The instructor (live), a professional with extensive experience in work environments related to the topics covered, acts as a workshop leader, guiding students' practice through knowledge transfer processes, applying the concepts of the proposed syllabus to the project.

The methodology seeks that the student does not memorize, but rather understands the concepts and how they are applied in a work environment.

As a result of this work, at the end of the training the student will have gained real experience, will be prepared for work and to pass an interview, a technical test, and/or achieve higher scores on international certification exams.
