Introductory course that provides participants with essential cybersecurity concepts, current types of threats, the fundamentals of digital protection, best practices for users and administrators, and the foundational knowledge needed to progress toward more specialized certifications such as Cisco CyberOps or CompTIA Security+.
Upon completing this certification, the student will be able to:
- Understand and explain basic cybersecurity concepts
- Identify and prevent common digital threats
- Apply best practices for personal and organizational digital security
- Protect devices, networks, and accounts through basic configurations
- Analyze suspicious events and know how to respond to incidents
- Be prepared to continue their training in advanced courses such as CyberOps or CEH
No prior knowledge is strictly required, but it is highly recommended that the candidate:

Learning Methodology
The learning methodology, regardless of the modality (in-person or remote), is based on the development of workshops or labs that lead to the construction of a project, emulating real activities in a company.
The instructor (live), a professional with extensive experience in work environments related to the topics covered, acts as a workshop leader, guiding students' practice through knowledge transfer processes, applying the concepts of the proposed syllabus to the project.
The methodology seeks that the student does not memorize, but rather understands the concepts and how they are applied in a work environment.
As a result of this work, at the end of the training the student will have gained real experience, will be prepared for work and to pass an interview, a technical test, and/or achieve higher scores on international certification exams.

Malware, phishing, ransomware, trojans, spyware, and how to recognize them.
Module III: Personal Security and Cyber Hygiene
Secure passwords, responsible browsing, security on social networks and email.
Module IV: Fundamentals of Secure Networks
Basic principles of networks, firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation.
Module V: Protection of Devices and Systems
Antivirus, updates, system hardening, and access controls.
Module VI: Basic Cryptography Concepts
Symmetric/asymmetric encryption, digital certificates, HTTPS, authentication.
Module VII: Standards and Best Practices in Information Security
Internal policies, ISO 27001, basic data protection laws.
Module VIII: Introduction to Incident Analysis and Digital Forensics
